Meet Our Founders
Level's founders, Dan and Dicken, discovered their shared passion for creative entrepreneurism when they met in Ethiopia. Over the following years, they worked together on numerous creative projects, before deciding that it was time to combine their extensive experience and expertise to create Level, an innovative new coaching platform to support aspiring creative entrepreneurs.
Dan is a Business & Brand Strategist and Executive Coach, with over 15 years experience successfully leading businesses in the creative industries.
A professionally qualified CIM marketer with an Executive MBA from London Business School, Dan is also a CTI trained leadership & business coach and has been recognised as one of the UK's Business Elite by Who's Who.
During his time as Managing Director of the Mercury Prize, Europe's Number One Arts Prize, Dan devised and produced long and short form branded content for broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4 and YouTube. He also successfully developed and implemented marketing and brand partnerships with high profile brands including, Apple Music, Barclaycard, Bose, Hyundai, Stella Artois and Maserati.
Dicken is a multi disciplined creative entrepreneur, music industry executive and film maker, with over 15 years experience delivering creative solutions to a wide variety of international clients.
With a background as a professional musician, composer and producer, Dicken made the transition into artist rights management by founding recording and publishing companies in Africa,
After experiencing the challenges faced in territories such as Rwanda, Kenya and Ethiopia, Dicken focused on widening commercial opportunities for artists in Africa. He has extensive experience developing and producing brand partnerships, films and short form content across Africa, including a recent multi-territory festival featuring Joss Stone
